i love you, amber(:
okay before anyone starts questioning my sanity as you read that i've written a poem for my dog, let me just say that the past three days have been among that hardest in my life. why? because i've had to say goodbye to one of my best pals on earth. AMBER, my golden retriever succumbed to lung cancer and bone disease on thursday. we had to put her down because of the bone disease, which fused her joints together, making her unable to walk ever again. it was the most heart-wrenching thing to behold, seeing her sitting there unable to move or eat. i don't know which was worse. seeing her suffer, or watching dad carry her to the car for her last car-ride(to the vet). naturally, the family spent the rest of the evening in tears. needless to say i learnt stuff from that experience, most of which was to cherish my darling Cocoa ALOT more.. she only has about 3 to 4 years left here with us, and i think i will be even more of a wreck when she passes. oh well. just a fact of life. it sucks but that doesn't make it any less present.
well the past week, other that the above incident, has been quite pleasant. sang for WEB yesterday, and i must say that CLARICE did a wonderful job as a first-time worship leader. yayy clar! haha. the percussion master-plan was a pretty genius concept, sadly we didn't use it in the end(:
WG was really fun. had a good time filling in that reflection worksheet, about priorities plans pace and purpose. it really got me thinking. really hope that i can apply what i reflected on... but i thik the highlight was seeing syahir in a pink shirt and the pink hairband. hahaah! should've taken pictures, but im no that evil. it was the result of a lost bet. which made it even more hilarious since he was such a good sport. haha! good job dude(:
PW meeting tmr! whoo i can't wait. seems like i haven't gone into town in such a loooooong time, and that i haven't seen my friends in so long. its going to be a VERY welcome change in environment(:
...turrah!...
