title:
time: 8:27 PM
today was just one of those days that progressed very nicely from a
bad morning to a all-in-all
fun day. let me count the ways...
- it started raining pretty heavily just as i began the trek to the college from the kindergarten carpark, i.e. i got pretty wet. and going for morning worship with a wet uniform it definitely not a fun thing to be doing.
- chinese test! what a horror to behold the first thing in the morning. but i have to say that lao shi was really so cool to let us listen to our mp3 players while taking the test! my goodness. never before heard of. i love my lao shi. hehe.
- GP was just friggin fun man. haha. cam-whoring with the s16 gals(raa, enn, gillian) and huiping and pris goh was just so entertaining. haha. hopefully will have the photos up once raa decides to upload them.
- math was its usual dull boring self. more tutorials that i have not even ready being answered at lightning speed in front of my very eyes by ms yeo. it got to the point where i had to ask myself "did i copy this already?" bad bad bad. really must make the effort to prepare much more in advance. heh.
- break was fun. debated with jo chen and ping on the possibilities of spontaneous human combustion. hahahahah. mr ho better not let us run in the sun for PE ever again!
- and JOY OH JOY h1 teacher was absent, and PE was cancelled! whoop. that really made my day. so had a pretty nice break in the afternoon with jamie(the paranoid one) and jonadab(for a short period) in the library(:
- ME was like the best that it had ever been. played this hilarious game that mrs ho invented(i think). we lined up in a straight line outside the classroom, then she would shout out two choices(e.g. apples-step left, oranges-step right), and we were to choose our preference. gosh it really did reveal alot about us. like the fact that shengky preferred a romantic date to hanging out with his pals. haha! and there was one, where mrs ho shouted out "homework or movies," and the whole class stepped in one direction... except. julian. haha! the poor fellow was just torn. or maybe he didn't hear. but it was just so side-splitting to see him in the middle when everyone else chose homework. though this does raise up an impt point. i really admire julian in the way that he dares to set himself apart so clearly in order to stick to his ideals. "mugger" as he may be, i think we all have something to learn from him. not just to study really hard, but to dare to be different. as christians, we always claim to have that power. but i think that when push comes to shove, i wonder how many of us(definitely including myself) are willing to do that for the God we serve. just a thought to chew on... (:
- stayed back after school to help matheus unveil his grand banner that was supposed to stretch all the way across the canteen. but alas, there was not enough raffia. poor thing he was so disappointed. haha. i really hope that it is still hanging there in all its glory tmr morning and not broken... it was tiring but fun nonetheless, hanging out with ping, cheng, chiang and mat. (cheng, the "cut here" thing was hilarious! haha:)
- and the thing that really ended the day on a weird note. the bus ride home. well it started out very normal, normal conversation with weichiang. then. suddenly. he started rubbing his neck saying that he felt something crawling. paying no attention, i just kept yabbering on. then. suddenly. he reached to his collar and flicked his finger downward, brandishing a spider. AHH. I HATE SPIDERS. and the WORST thing was, guess where he flicked the it. AT ME! EURGH.it started crawling up the front of my blouse before i frantically flicked it off. i had to really control the scream that was about to exit my mouth(to keep from embarrasing us further.imagine, 2 grown JC students panicking about a spider on the bus in front of everybody. what a sight. haha). i could have killed the dude. argh. gosh it gave me chills the remainder of the ride. i swear i felt it crawling on my leg again, but then again it could have been my over-active imagination after that fright. haha.
ok ok before you start wondering how i have so much time on my hands so as to be able to chronicle my day like this, let me set the record straight. i actually don't. *guilty laugh* i have TON of homework staring at my face. i'm just so bored and have no motivation to continue with it. blogging was the next best alternative. which reminds me. econs is half done. ARGH! TURRAH (:
