it was bound to happen
my emo spell has begun. cue scary music *da-da-da-dahhh*
eurgh
it just feels like the entire world is going to the dogs.
just finished reading my latest copy of TIME. the articles just brought so much news of doom and gloom that it was enough to make even Huiping emo.
the humanitarian crisis in Zimbabwe(once one of Africa's most prosperous nations, but because of the senseless acts of a leader, now a country that is slipping into destruction.)
the impending war betwee Israel and Palestine.
the story about the 19 year old father in the United States who "cooked" his 2 month old daughter in the microwave for 20 seconds.
and the list goes on. eurgh.
i was so depressed after that, kept asking myself why. why do these things happen.
because God let them.
that was the answer that my subconscious whispered to me.
God
the sovereign Lord over all the earth.
although i don't understand it, i pray that His will be done in the world.
gosh this is so uncharacteristic of me.
i need to join weichiang's campaign.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE...
the week that passed was pretty good. filled with much joy and laughter with friends. (Lord i thank you for filling my life with people like these. they are a true blessing and make life so much better)
for example. a normal boring GP lesson was seriously livened up by the sudden urge to cam-whore with the s16 gals. haah.

wg this week rocked! spent the time in worship and prayer, which i thought was certainly a timely thing to do. reconciled with some stuff that the Lord has been dealing with me in terms of my walk, and i must say that i walked out of Hope 5 refreshed. praise God, and kudos to Mark and Galvin who planned the program(:
can't wait to face the week ahead, our last week of school. to use a phrase that has seriously been overused on this blog, time has really flown. its the end of term. we're THAT much closer to common tests and promos. oh man. may we all survive(:
