title:
time: 9:03 PM
what an utterly gloomy and depressing day. i absolutely hate weather like this. it is so deadening to the senses. give me sunshine and heat anyday! i keep singing that immortal song from "Annie" on days like this..
*the sun will come out, TOMORROW! betcha bottoms..* but it never does. bleagh.
alot has transpired from the time i last posted to now. and i will spare you the gory details. just know that it hasn't been pretty. these past two weeks have been the most trying time of my life, a time of truly discovering my identity in Christ and the issue of surrender to Him, through the situation of going to a new school. this whole "new environment" thing is, as i realised, something that i do not take well to AT ALL. things have been getting better very slowly, and i continue to pray and seek God for the strength and wisdom to make it throught this transition period.
i would like to, at this juncture, give God all the glory for all that He has accomplished in me this past two weeks. some very valuable lessons and applications have been planted in my heart, and i am truly grateful for that. thank you Lord.
props also to my family and friends, sonia clarissa anita for walking with me through this time, and all the support that you guys have given me :D
ORIENTATION was an eye-opener, to put it nicely. heh. i for one am not the most rah-rah person you will ever find so you can tell that it was an event that i wasn;t really looking forward to. but props definitely goes out to my OGL, Evan, and the whole of OG4 for making it a relatively painless experience. hehe. seriously, you guys were awesome!
gooo Saverdoooo! we brought sexy back! :D
my schedule is already piling up on top of itself! can you believe it? and tutorials have not even started. gahh. i think this was the thing i was dreading most about jc. the absolute lack of down-time. SAD! ok i know that was totally random but i just had to let that out. heh.
alright enough moaning about school. i've wallowed enough. heh.
babysitting duties beckon next saturday! letitia and mathena. YAY! those two little ones are seriously too adorable for words.. what with their cherub faces, rosy cheeks and the ultimate cincher, THOSE CUUTE AUSSIE ACCENTS! they really know how to make adults fawn over them. hee.
ok i have to make a hasty exit here. dinner-buying duties are calling my name. woohoo. that was sarcasm by the way. heh. till next time.. remember to floss! GOD BLESS :D
